Summer solstice

The midsummer (summer solstice) is one of the most important swedish holidays. It is my personal favourite for a few reasons: it's not religious (it's called"Midsommarafton" here, so John the Baptist gets no attention whatsoever), there's no need for gifts and there's a lot of food and drinks involved. It's also my father's birthday (55 this year), so that's another good reason for me to celebrate.
Quite a good couple of days, with sunny and warm weather here in southern Sweden, so it makes up for the cold and rainy midsummer last year.
